Lines
This image of lines is suitable because all of the lines in the structure (of the object) points out how large the object appears.The diagonal lines create a large effect on the structure and the smaller lines add to the length of the object.
Shape
This is an example of shape . The shape is simply a circle and is closed line. This pear is a natural design, organic. The object stands out from the backround as well.
Form
In this example of form, the shapes of the fruit are all three dimensional shapes. The peaches are circular, the bananas have their own distinct shape (a mixture of long thin lines and a square at the tip.) These shapes express the length, height, width and depth of the subject.
Space
In this image 'space' is very prominent. There is a foreground, a middleground and a backround. You can obviosly tell that there is lots of space ,or room in this image. This image has a negative space.
Color
In this example of color, the main hue is purple. The lighting of the sun (natural light) contrasts to the yellow pollen collecter in the centre of the flower. The different lines of purple on the flower's petals are illuminated as well.
Texture
This is an exellent image of texture. The texture is rough ,but the image is inviting and makes you want to reach out and touch the tree through the photograph. This image is implied texture. That means that this is the way the surface of an object looks and feels. The texture cannot actually be felt, but may appear to look fuzzy, rough, and gritty (such as sand).
Value
In this image of value, you easily notice the distinct difference of lightness and darkness.The contrast of the two opposite lightness results in depth and perception.Value is relative to the background color and other items on the page. This image is warm and inviting and realtes to texture of the flower and has a calm setting.
